Breakfast Banana Split
This is a fun way to serve up fruit and yogurt for breakfast or snack. You’re the chef! Experiment with different toppings, try different seasonal fruit like sliced peaches or apricots in place of berries and use different nuts and seeds. You could also top with your favourite dry cereal or granola and dried fruit.
Breakfast Banana Split
1 serving
1 banana, cut in half down the middle
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
½ cup mixed berries
1 tbsp chopped almonds
2 tsp hemp seeds or chia seeds
1 tsp mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Cut banana in half down the middle and place in a bowl or on a plate
In a small bowl, mix plain and vanilla yogurt together and dollop on top of banana
Sprinkle berries, almonds, hemp or chia seeds and chocolate chips on top of yogurt
